Walter was a wonderful man and I am happy I got to know him for the past 25 / 26 years. We always loved seeing him at Heather and Fraser’s house for birthdays and special occasions and he always had wonderful stories to share. We will all miss him dearly. Sending the Worsley family all our love.
"Just needs a louder pipe to make it better" Yup this was a catch phrase of Walter's... I first knew Walter back in the mid to late eighties, when he was helping Brian Taylor and myself race motorcycle, after retired from racing we attended the last racing events held locally. We kept in touch after that via Christmas correspondence and family pix, where he was surrounded by his wonderful family, that always had him smiling, but those Christmas pixs showed something wasn't right. Walter was a bear of a man,the only person who could ever get away with getting the better of him was Linda!! But even Walter was no match for that Mother Of All Malady's,cancer, Walter, I hope you ride away on something Italian and trouble free, ride on Walter.
